Heinrich Himmler and Rudolf Diels.

Reading about Diels: he was a protégé of Hermann Göring. He soon attracted the attention of political rivals including Heinrich Himmler and Reinhard Heydrich, but with Goring’s aid, he narrowly avoided execution during the Night of the Long Knives. He died in 1957, when his rifle accidentally discharged while he was hunting.

Fascinating, and the picture is great too… Himmler seems to do not like him, same Diels~

I usually try not to reblog things that do not have any Himmler on it but this time tumblr won me. I’ve always been fascinated by this “reconstruction” of history. I’ve seen many more photos like these ones. Not sure if it’s from the same artist, but i find it really inspiring and touching to see this LINK TO THE PAST… don’t you thinks so?
